Prohibited services
The security service answers the question “can we work with them”, and compliance answers “can we work this way”. The prohibited services registry keeps prohibitions by country and legal entity, and an order from A3.Sales is checked against keywords before the deal.
Plan Compliance contour module, Enterprise plan. What is inside
- Prohibition type: legislation or internal policy
- Country, legal entity and period of the prohibition
- Legal basis of the prohibition
- Keywords: substring, whole word, phrase
- Order text check: test run and check results
- A flag with escalation instead of a hard block, with a recorded decision
Boundaries
A keyword match does not stop the sale: it flags the order and notifies compliance. Decisions accumulate and help refine the rule.
Frequent questions
Why a flag and not a block?
Word matching produces false positives, and a hard block would stop sales. A flag with a human decision protects against both a violation and a lost deal.
How are different laws taken into account?
A prohibition has a country and a period. A service prohibited in one country may be allowed in another, and deals from past periods are assessed by the rules of their time.
