Sanctions screening
Matching against international sanctions lists, national AML/CFT lists and lists of politically exposed persons. Exact string comparison does not work here, so matching is fuzzy, and a person reviews every match.
Plan Standard plan and above. What is inside
- Lists: international sanctions, national AML/CFT, politically exposed persons
- Fuzzy matching that accounts for transliteration and name part order
- Every match: confirmed or false positive, with a justification
- Decisions are kept and do not come up again on a repeat check
- The company’s internal stop list with a reason and a validity period
- Run log and a screening step inside the check regulation
Boundaries
The screening engine is connected from the A3 fintech line. A confirmed match blocks a positive verdict until the specialist makes a decision.
Frequent questions
What to do with namesakes?
Mark the match as false positive with a justification. The decision is remembered, and this match will not come up on the next check of the same subject.
How often are the lists updated?
The screening provider updates the lists. Subjects on monitoring are matched again, and a match arrives as an alert.
